Débè is an award winning and many times nominated chef/caterer of the Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards, the most prestigious food awards on the Island. She has cooked for Governor Generals in Jamaica, Canada and High commissioners and other high ranking officials of The US, China, Trinidad, Canada, Jamaica, Barbados and England to mane a few. She is also one of the chefs of the Jamaica Food and Drink Festival which boasts Jamaica’s top chefs. Débè’s catering business Cutting Edge Gourmet does food for corporations, weddings, parties and all special events island wide, including off island.
Debe has been cooking for 48 years and selling food for 42yrs. She is a product development consultant with recipes on the market for companies like KRAFT International, Best Dressed Foods, Brunswick, and Eve.
